Master Membership Tab
The Master Membership Tab App is owned and developed by a 3rd-party developer (Treefrog Digital). For questions regarding setup, printing, or support, contact support@treefrogdigital.com.
App Technical Description
The Master Membership Tab app helps manage club membership data across multiple Commerce7 instances. It displays cross-brand membership insights directly on the Customer Details page, in the Admin Panel, and in the POS, giving teams a unified view of customer memberships across brands.
The app is installed per Commerce7 instance via the Apps & Extensions page and requires Admin Owner access.

Setup Instructions
- Install the App on Commerce7
- From the Commerce7 Admin Panel, go to Apps & Extensions, then select Apps. (You must have Admin Owner role to install the app)

- Search for the Master Membership Tab by Treefrog Digital, click on the app, and then click Install App.
2. Once the app is installed, you will need to install it on all Commerce7 tenants you plan to link. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional tenant.
How to link your tenants:
After installing the app, you’ll need to link your tenants to each other. Linking tenants requires entering each store's Tenant name and API Key into the others.
In each store, go to:
- Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Membership Tab - Settings - General

- Here you’ll find the tenant name and API Key
Linking your tenants:
Step 1. Copy details from your first store
- Log in to your first store (tenant)
- Got to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Membership Tab - Settings - General
- Copy the Tenant name and API key.
- Enable the Tag Current Tenant option.

Step 2. Add the First Store to your Second Store
- Log in to your second store
- Go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Membership Tab - Settings - Link Tenants
- Click on Add Link Tenant
- In Tenant, enter the tenant name of your first store
- In the API Key field, enter the API Key from your first store.
- Click Save

Step 3. Complete the Two-Way Link
- In your second store, go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Membership Tab - Settings - General
- Copy the Tenant name and API key.
- Return to your first store
- Go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Membership Tab - Settings - Link Tenants
- Click Add Link Tenant
- Enter the second store’s tenant name and API Key
- Click Save
If you have more than two tenants, repeat this process in all stores so that each store has every other store added as a Link Tenant.
The Master Membership Tab App links tenants by exchanging and saving unique API Keys between stores.
For example:
- Treefrog owns three brand stores.
- Each brand store is considered a tenant.
- Every tenant has its own unique tenant name and API Key.
To link all tenants, each store must be added as a Link Tenant in the other stores using its API Key.
Tagging and Mapping your clubs:
In the Master Membership tab, you can assign tags to be used across your tenants and map which clubs trigger tag assignment for each tenant.
You can choose which clubs should apply benefits, which should be excluded, or even add a delay before benefits become active.
For help configuring club mappings and tag assignments across your tenants, please contact us at support@treefrogdigital.com, and our team will help ensure everything is set up correctly.

How to view customer information across your Commerce7 tenants
Once you have linked all your tenants, you’ll be able to view your customers’ information across all instances through the Customer Detail Page (CMR).
- From the admin panel, navigate to CRM - Customers
- Click on the customer you want to view. This will open the Customer Detail Page.
- From the customer overview page, you’ll see:
- A Master Membership Club field that shows if the customer is active in any club membership. A blue box indicates they’re active in more than one club across your tenants.
- The overview also shows the tenants the client is a member of.

4. To view more detailed information, click on the Master Membership tab. Here, you can view consolidated customer information across all linked tenants, including:
- Club
- Signup Date
- Club Membership Status
- Sync Club Membership option
