Master Customer Tab

The Master Customer Tab app for Commerce7 is owned and built by a 3rd party developer (Treefrog Digital). For questions regarding custom reports, setup, or support, please contact us at hello@treefrogdigital.com.

App Technical Description

The app connects multiple Commerce7 instances and displays customer data with matching email addresses inside the Customer Detail page. The app reads customer records across your linked tenants and surfaces key metrics—such as LTV, Gross Profit, Number of Orders, Current Club, and Last Reservation.

The app is designed for visibility only and does not sync, merge, or update customer information. It simply pulls customer metrics from each tenant, allowing Admin-level users to compare customer activity across all Commerce7 instances in one place.

Setup Instructions

  1. Install the App on Commerce7
    • From the Commerce7 Admin Panel, go to Apps & Extensions, then select Apps. (You must have Admin Owner role to install the app)

    • Search for the Master Customer Tab by Treefrog Digital, click on the app, and then click Install App.

2.  Once the app is installed, you will need to install it on all Commerce7 tenants you plan to link. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional tenant.

How to link your tenants:

After installing the app, you’ll need to link your tenants to each other. Linking tenants requires entering the Tenant name and API Key from each store into the others.

In each store, go to:

    • Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Customer Tab - Settings - General

    • Here you’ll find the tenant name and API Key

Linking your tenants:

Step 1. Copy details from your first store

  1. Log in to your first store (tenant)
  2. Got to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Customer Tab - Settings - General
  3. Copy the Tenant name and API key.

Step 2. Add the First Store to your Second Store

  1. Log in to your second store
  2. Go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Customer Tab - Settings - Link Tenants
  3. Click on Add Link Tenant
  4. In Tenant, enter the tenant name of your first store
  5. In the API Key field, enter the API Key from your first store.
  6. Click Save

Step 3. Complete the Two-Way Link

  1. In your second store, go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Customer Tab - Settings - General
  2. Copy the Tenant name and API key.
  3. Return to your first store
  4. Go to Apps & Extensions - Apps - Master Customer Tab - Settings - Link Tenants
  5. Click Add Link Tenant
  6. Enter the second store’s tenant name and API Key
  7. Click Save

If you have more than two tenants, repeat this process in all stores so that each store has every other store added as a Link Tenant.

The Master Customer Tab App links tenants by exchanging and saving unique API Keys between stores.

For example:

  • Treefrog owns three brand stores.
  • Each brand store is considered a tenant.
  • Every tenant has its own unique tenant name and API Key.
  • To link all tenants, each store must be added as a Link Tenant in the other stores using its API Key.
